𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗖𝗗 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲

We are have been excited to assist in rolling out Government’s National Parenting Programme, funded through the National ECD Alliance (NECDA). It is been a transformative initiative, equipping parents with essential tools and strategies to foster positive relationships and provide nurturing environments for their children.

In concluding the programme, we were honoured to host Mr. Rex Molefe, NECDA chairperson, who witnessed firsthand the impact of the training received by 2 536 parents throughout the year. Together, we discussed challenges faced by parents and explored ways to enhance future support, ensuring they have the resources to thrive as individuals and caregivers.

Parents shared how the programme has transformed their lives, with one stating, “These sessions teach me to take care of myself first so I can show up as a parent.” Another remarked, “I’ve learned to overcome anger and be kinder to myself and my children.” A third reflected, “Sitting with other parents has shown me I’m not alone—I can open up and gain guidance from others.” Their experiences highlight the profound impact of this initiative as we continue working to empower parents for their children and families to thrive.
