HOPE worldwide SA through the SUCCEED Programme with Makro, hosted a service delivery Imbizo primarily for households with young children, at Muzomuhle Primary School in Diepsloot on 6 October 2017.

HOPE worldwide SA was able to bring together service providers to assist the residents of Diepsloot. The event served as a ‘one-stop service destination’ for the Diepsloot community to access a range of services. The services provided were social grant applications (SASSA), birth certificates with the Department of Home Affairs and HIV testing. The imbizo also hosted the South African Police Services (SAPS), Right to Care, Harambee Youth employment accelerator, Curro Academy Riverside, Diepsloot Community Radio Station and others.

The Imbizo aptly epitomized the way the SUCCEED Programme invests in early childhood development within communities.
