Children succeed when they learn and play in a safe, healthy, stimulating and nurturing environment.
Over the past few years, we have assisted over 100 ECD Centres with nutrition, infrastructure and resources needed to create a stimulating and learning environment.
One of our goals is to assist ECD Centres in registering with the Department of Social Development. This requires meeting government’s norms and standards. Once registered, centres can benefit from a subsidy that will sustain the quality of their services to children in their care. At this point centres are graduated out of our programme.
It is vital that centre teachers require quality training. HOPE worldwide SA offers NQF level 4 and 5 training, through its network of service providers, to selected teachers.
